Benmayor S.A. has completed the project: IMPLEMENTATION of a NEW HORIZONTAL IMPREGNATION LINE, with the acronym NLIH.
Developed between January 2023 and September 2024, this project is part of the company's Innovation Strategy and has received a grant as part of the call+subsidies for productive investment projects that improve competitiveness and impact the degree of environmental sustainability and digitisation of industrial companies.
This has been done to provide the company with an increase in manufacturing capacity and a qualitative leap in TIM and Thermal FR4 materials for the power electronics and battery sectors of the automotive industry. Thanks to the real possibility of improving their thermal resistance (reducing it by up to 30% thanks to the availability of resins with clearly enhanced thermal conductivity and with the option of manufacturing materials with thicknesses of between 1 and 120 microns) and increasing their dielectric capacity (up to 6 kV dc), this has been done.
That is made possible by the new HT-860 horizontal impregnation line, equipped with three precision impregnation heads (1 comma head and two gravure heads), a 9-module oven, and a 20-metre length. This line allows precise and flexible manufacturing, obtaining materials of up to three layers produced with high efficiency.
With this implementation, Benmayor S.A. can increase its capacity to take on new projects, offer high-quality products with highly competitive deadlines, and increase its added value.
